SplitShare ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Flint Dickson. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the SplitShare mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, username, and optional profile photo.

Workout Data: We collect workout logs, exercises, sets, reps, weights, photos, and captions that you choose to record in the App.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including features used and pages visited.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and push notification tokens for delivering notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's functionality
• To display your workouts on your profile and in feeds
• To enable social features such as following, liking, and commenting
• To send push notifications (daily reminders and social notifications) if you opt in
• To process subscriptions and in-app purchases
• To improve the App and develop new features

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Database and authentication (Privacy Policy)
• RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management (Privacy Policy)
• Apple — App distribution and payment processing via the App Store

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data Sharing

Your workout posts, profile name, username, and profile photo are visible to other users based on your privacy settings. If your account is set to private, only approved followers can see your workouts. We do not share your email address with other users.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through the App
• Update your profile information at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data through Settings > Account > Delete Account
• Control your privacy settings, including making your account private
• Opt out of push notifications at any time through the App or device settings

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (profile, workouts, likes, comments, follows, and goals) is permanently deleted from our servers.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
